In the Summer Term, usually June, our Year 4 class go on a 2 night residential trip to Hooke Court in Dorset. The children are usually accompanied by 2 teachers and at least 2 teaching assistants.
Each year we try and write a blog while we are away so that parents can see what we have been up to and any children who haven't gone on the trip can send messages too.

We hold an information evening each year and the class also have a presentation about the trip. You can see the presentation here.

Read MoreWe had our first dinner at Hooke Court and everyone ate something! We had pasta bolognese, apple crumble with custard, lots of fruit and plenty to drink. No one was hungry.

Read MoreAs part of our Roman Day we learnt all about what Romans ate and made a Roman feast of our own. We have been busy making bread, vegetable potage (a type of soup) and Roman sausages.
