This half term in the Red Kites has been slightly different with some children in school and some learning from home. However, we couldn’t be prouder of the work that they have managed to produce wherever they have been working.
We have finished our book study of King Kong by Anthony Browne and all of the children have thoroughly enjoyed this book from the beginning to the end. See the pictures below for some of their thoughts on the story and a few predictions on how the story would end. A few of the children have even been acting it out on the new exciting playground equipment outside our classroom!
We are currently writing our own versions of the story ‘Into the forest’ by Anthony Browne and have enjoyed identifying familiar characters in the illustrations.
The children have worked tirelessly to complete all tasks set in Google classroom and joined for our daily catch ups and games online too.
We are so proud of each and everyone of our Red Kites and are amazed at their enthusiasm and resilience.
