Welcome to Lambs Lane Primary School

13 November 2026 - Online admissions open via the Wokingham Borough Council Admissions Portal
15 January 2027 - Closing date for on-time applications and supporting evidence via the Wokingham Borough Council Admissions portal
16 April 2027 - National Offers of school places are sent out
1 May 2027 - Deadline to respond to the offer of school place
TBC May 2027 -Waiting list information is made available
TBC May 2027 - Closing date for receipt of appeals
Primary applications for 2027/2028:
Eligibility and Application Rules
Birth range: Children born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023 are eligible to start Reception in September 2027.
Preferences: You can list up to 4 school preferences on your application.
Direct Distance Model: Wokingham Borough Council uses a straight-line distance-to-school model (prioritising children living closer) for community and voluntary controlled schools, shifting away from traditional catchment boundaries. Check specific academies as they may set separate arrangements.
No automatic transfer: If your child attends a nursery attached to a school, you must still formally apply for a Reception place via Wokingham Borough Council

Lambs Lane Primary School joined the Orchard Learning Alliance in November 2025. From January 2026 we will be responsible for our own "In Year" admissions. Please email: admissions@lambslane.wokingham.sch.uk for further information.
