School Dinner Meals

From September 2025 we are changing to a new catering provider!

Parents/Carers of children in EYFS, Year 1, Year 2 and children who receive free school meals must still register and book.
To ensure your child has a school dinner for when school begins in September, you must order by 11pm on Sunday 31 August.

The school will be using a new catering company - Innovate.

Ordering a school dinner

You will receive an e-mail from the catering company “Innovate”.  Within the e-mail you will receive a link for each child to register them.  Please note, if you have more than one child at the school, you must register each child, and only 1 parent will be able to order the dinners.

Please be advised that from September all meal ordering will be dealt with directly by the external catering company.  You will be required to order in advance for the week ahead. Ensure you have the correct funds in your catering account. The minimum top up is £5.

For Example (w/c 8TH September all lunch orders must be ordered by 11pm Sunday 7th September).   The new meal price will be £2.57.

You will be able to access the system via an app on your smart phone, tablet or via their website.

My child hardly ever has a school dinner, how does this affect me?

Even if your child only has a school dinner now and again, please register them as you will need to use this system to order a dinner on School Census day and when the time comes... the Christmas Dinner!

Universal Infant Free School Meals.

Universal Free School Meals were introduced in September 2014. This means that all children in EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible for a free school meal every day. Naturally, we hope that parents of children in these year groups will take advantage of this fantastic opportunity for their child to enjoy a free hot meal every day.

Free School Meals.

All children may also be eligible for Free School Meals, a scheme by which the school attracts funding from the government called Pupil Premium. As well as Free School Meals, this funding is targeted at the registered pupils to help support their education in a variety of ways. If you think you may be eligible for funding, please register your child for this benefit. To find out if you are eligible for Free School Meals please see the information for Parents document below. Please complete the form below (hard copies are also available from the school office) and return to the school office.

Current Menu

You can view the menu options for the week ahead in the Innovate app.

If your child has any special dietary requirements, please update your child's Innovate account in the 'Allergies' section.

Packed Lunches

Children are welcome to bring a packed lunch to school but please can parents ensure that packed lunches contain a sandwich or savoury alternative (e.g. pasta salad or rice salad) and some healthy extras (e.g. fruit or vegetables, cheese, yoghurt, cereal bar). Water is available for all children in the dining hall at the tables, but if an additional drink is included this must not be fizzy.

Please keep crisps and chocolate snacks to a absolute minimum and NO NUTS are permitted in packed lunches due to allergy risks. This includes most chocolate spreads and some cereal bars, please be vigilant.

School Milk

Quote from Cool Milk, our milk providers
“School milk is excellent as a mid-morning drink. It provides a nutritional boost and keeps children hydrated between breakfast and lunch, helping them to concentrate and learn.”
